Live Blues at Atomic Rooster
Every Sunday starting at 6:00pm, the Atomic Rooster hosts exceptional live blues bands – and welcomes swing & blues dancers.
Lorna’s Ballroom & Latin Party
Every Sunday, Lorna’s Dance Collective hosts a ballroom dance in the beautiful Glebe Community Centre ballroom. 8:00-11:00pm, 175 Third Avenue, Ottawa.
Sunday Night Salsa at Amigos Sports Bar
6:00pm-11:00pm at Amigos, 858 Merivale Road.
Tuesday
Petite Chicago Swing
Join Swing Dynamite at the Petit Chicago Bar for a monthly swing soiree on the first Tuesday of every month! Beginner Swing lesson included at 9:15pm. Dancing starts at 10:00pm.
Wednesday
Maxwell’s
Maxwell’s (Wednesdays) On Wednesday night, the Johnny Vegas band plays live at Maxwell’s and many of Ottawa’s dancers head there. The music is generally faster – ideal for East Coast Swing – but there is also a lot of Hustle, Cha-Cha and a bit of West Coast Swing danced as well. Learn more >>

Thursday
Ottawa Swing Dance Society
Friday nights are for Swing dancing hosted by the Ottawa Swing Dance Society. The music is ideal for Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Balboa, Charleston and – yes – the odd West Coast Swing as well. The first Friday of every month features a live Swing band.
Friday
Rahim’s Latin Fridays
Friday nights are also for Salsa dancing, at the city’s most popular venue for Salsa dancing: Rahim’s! There’s always an interesting lesson to start the night off.

Salsaria (2 Saturdays/month)
DJ Jim Da Vo hosts a fantastic evening of Salsa dancing (along with some Bachata and Cha-Cha) once or twice a month at the gorgeous Plant Bath.
