We are dancers, teachers and competitors focused on West Coast Swing and Hustle, also dabbling in Blues dancing, Balboa and Lindy Hop. You can find us:

Social dancing, practicing and training every chance we get
Teaching weekly private and semi-private lessons in our home studio as well as group workshops at dance studios and events
Competing with each other in Hustle and with other partners in West Coast Swing. We continue to earn top-three placements at competitions in Canada and the United States.

We bring a unique mix of experience and skills to our dancing, teaching and performance. Maria's training in contemporary jazz, tap, swimming and synchronized swimming give her a strong understanding of kinetic movement and technique, while Andre's background as a club DJ and training in martial arts give him exceptional musicality and precision.

Our teaching and communication style is influenced by our professions. Andre is a business and marketing executive with more than three decades of experience developing and delivering training programs in the high-tech industry. Maria is a business owner and professional communicator who comes from a family of teachers and spent many years teaching and coaching in a college.

We have been dancing together since 2003 and competing since 2006, earning more than 50 medals in just a few years. Andre also DJs at West Coast Swing , Swing, and Hustle events as one half of the DJ tag team, OldsKOOL & DaCube. We're proud to have been the founders and coaches of the champion WCS Team, the Swing Dynamite Westie Bombers, in 2008-2009.

We are members of the World Swing Dance Council and the International Hustle Dance Association.
